N.S. SAVANNAH CALENDAR of EVENTS

This listing is to keep you informed of events that involve this historical landmark. But, be alert to the fact that many Savannah events are sponsored by someone other than MARAD and, therefore, are not open to the general public. MARAD does open the ship to the general public for the National Maritime Day celebration and MARAD's SAVANNAH Technical Staff will on occassion host an event, usually informal.

05/19/2012		National Maritime Day Commemoration Aboard N.S. Savannah
Location: N.S. Savannah; Pier 13, Canton Marine Terminal, 4601 Newgate Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21224 Date: Saturday, May 19, 2012 Time: 10:00 AM The 2012 National Maritime Day Commemoration & Luncheon will be held aboard the N.S. Savannah in the Helen Delich Bentley Port of Baltimore! This celebration features Ship Tours & a Crabcake Luncheon (luncheon is optional - prepayment required). The day's activities are presented by the Port of Baltimore - National Maritime Day Commeoration 2012 Committee and co-sponsored by the USMMA KP Alumni - Chesapeake Chapter, the Baltimore Port Alliance in cooperation with the U.S. Maritime Administration, Savannah Technical Staff For more details, click on the USMMA KP (U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, Kings Point) Alumni website.
